Salt Water System Cleaning and Maintenance

Looking into converting your chlorine pool to a salt water pool? Already have a salt system your looking to get service for? Look no farther! We are your one stop shop for salt systems in San Antonio.

Looking to convert? Its actually easier then you might think and there are plenty of benefits to doing so, but some trade-offs as well. First the benefits.
  • Salt water pool generate their own chlorine, which means you don't have to handle of store dangerous chemicals
  • Salt water systems are gentler on the skin as well as on the pool walls and liners
  • Salt pools feel softer then chlorine
  • They take much less daily maintenance
  • The chlorine a chlorinator produces is a higher quality the the chlorine you buy, which doesn't cause the same reactions to eyes and skin
Down sides?
  • Calcium build-up can be the biggest draw back to conversion. Water pH levels in a salt water pool tends to spike upwards more often If not managed properly scaling can start which will cause clogged filters and deposits within the system.
  • Salt cells carry a pretty hefty up front cost, but luckily only have to be replaced every couple of seasons.
  • Salt systems cause equipment damage much faster then a traditional chlorine pool. The water in salt pool corrodes metal and can cause surfaces to fade. Replacement of parts might out weight the cost benefits of switching over.
